“Thank you so much for arranging for this energy coop. The Coop fee was paid by savings in my electric bills within the first two months. I compared my 2005 and 2006 BGE rates. My Crofton bills were up 55% and my Bowie bills increased by 60% during the same summer periods, prior to the Coop rates starting. While this year’s energy bills are higher than the previous year’s — due to the general rate increases, the bills are up by just about 15%. Based on what I have heard from other franchise owners who are not part of an energy coop, their winter bills are still unmanageable. Thank you, thank you, thank you. The monthly difference for the electric bills provide me with the option to advertise more or to enjoy the profits.
