  By checking the “I Accept the Terms and Conditions” box and clicking the “Continue” button on this page, you are agreeing to become a member of the CQI Associates-sponsored Residential Energy Cooperative. You are also granting permission to CQI Associates, LLC of Columbia, Maryland to act on your behalf as a licensed aggregator/broker in the selection of a supplier to provide energy supply services to your designated account(s). You also agree to allow CQI Associates to contact you via email and phone regarding your account(s), even if you are on the “Do Not Call” registry.

  Once you click “Continue,” you will be taken to the selected supplier’s website, where you will be asked to complete the registration and enrollment process and requested to input information on the following: your current utility company, your choice(s) of electric and/or natural gas products, your rate, your contract term, service address, billing address, and your current utility account number and, where applicable, your meter number. You will also have the option for budget billing.

  You are agreeing to a contract for a non-variable, non-indexed rate for a fixed-price term published on the date of enrollment by the selected supplier. You will not be enrolled until you check that all the information you provided is correct and click the “Confirm” button. Depending on your billing cycle, the new service with the new supplier will appear on the ‘supply’ or 'generation' portion of your bill after your next applicable meter read date.

  Approximately 45 days prior to your contract end meter read date, you agree to be contacted by the current supplier and CQI Associates, LLC to determine your options for the next year. At that point, you can renew with the current supplier, choose a different supplier, or return to your original utility for supply service. If you ignore the notice, the current supplier has the option to automatically renew your contract for another year at whatever fixed market rate is prevailing at that time.
